Introducing the Highly Customizable Gen 2 NFT Collection: ICTO NFT Card

We are excited to launch the second generation of our popular NFT collection on the Internet Computer blockchain. With total supply of 3,460 non-fungible tokens, Gen 2 builds on the successes of our inaugural project while adding more utilities like customization and upgradeable rarity traits.

Inheriting Traits from Gen 1

A key feature brought over from the preceding generation is verifiable scarcity. Our NFTs possess six tiered rarity grades: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Very Rare, Epic and Legendary. Earlier adopters who hold Gen 1 NFTs will have their tokens migrated to Gen 2 with matched traits and added token points:

• Citizen (Gen1) = Common (Gen2) +3 points

• Pioneer (Gen1) = Uncommon (Gen2) +6 points

• Legendary (Gen1) = Very Rare (Gen2) +15 points

We are delighted to bestow an exclusive recognition for the 123 Gen 1 Legendary NFT holders by immortalizing their tokens permanently as the one-and-only Very Rare tier in the Gen 2 collection distribution. May this special tier add more utility to showcase your legacy status and cement the provenance pathway for future generations.

The points system enables community members to incrementally upgrade their NFT's rank over time through active participation. Legendary is the rarest and strictly limited in quantity.

Customization for Unique Expression

While the underlying smart contracts confer provable ownership, we emphasize individual expression using multiple custom elements:

Editable Name Tag: The name field associated with each NFT can be altered to include your username, nickname or other identifying labels.

Signature Representation: An animated signature constructed from your inputs will be overlaid on the NFT image, signifying your public address’s ownership.

Through customization, users can tailor their special NFT to match personal preferences while retaining the embedded membership perks. As the project matures, more options to stand out will become available.

Accumulating Points to Rank Up

Each NFT token accrues points over time automatically that contributes toward advancing rarity tier. Here's a summary:

Age Points: Every NFT earns 0.1 point daily just for being held in your wallet, equating to 36 points annually.

Quantity Points: Having more NFTs from the collection leads to bigger ownership rewards. 10 additional tokens held grants 1 point each month.

Platform Contributions: Engaging with ICTO’s campaigns like token airdrops or new product testing also results in points disbursement.

Community Participations: Joining the DAO governance or contributing creatives/code can merit generous points.

Based on calculations, Common NFTs take about 2 years of average engagement to accumulate sufficient points for reaching Uncommon tier. Subsequently, rarer traits demand exponentially more efforts, incentivizing long term retention.
